Erica Mena was quick to disagree with her estranged husband. “When you officially live separately – And you get to pick and choose what day you wannabe a parent that isn’t being with them every day,” the LHHATL star said. “That ship has sailed,” Erica told Safaree. “Twelve days after birth ALONE in the NICU being a married woman because ‘Dad’ wanted to vacation in Jamaica was my real life.”

“If you’re not ready to be honest about the real details of your absence the last thing anyone should be doing is a LIVE to LIE,” Erica went on to tell her estranged husband. “Go to therapy since it’s hard for you to forgive yourself,” Mena recommended. “Because that’s really the truth. No editing needed.”

It was during a recent episode of Love and Hip Hop: Atlant that Safaree apologized for everything he did to hurt Erica Mena. The recording artist opened up about his feelings and how he felt as if he did not have anyone to talk to. “You have me,” Erica told Safaree. “You just count me out all the time,” the celebrity mom told her husband.

“You count me out all the time like I didn’t marry you because I wanted to be with you forever,” Erica said through tears. “I love you,” Safaree told Erica during the scene. “I’m sorry for everything I’ve done to hurt you,” the recording artist told his wife.

Erica Mena and Safaree welcomed their son, Legend, earlier this year. The celebrities’ daughter, Safire, commemorated her first birthday in February.
