Tasha Cobbs Leonard and her husband, Kenneth Leonard, are enjoying their son Asher’s growth and development. The celebrity couple recently shared a video clip that featured their little one walking with the help of his mom.
Tasha’s new song, ‘The Church I Grew Up In,’ was playing in the background as images of the Gospel recording artist enjoying quality time at home with her son were displayed in the post. Asher appeared ready to dance to Gracie’s Corner, which was featured on the television in the room. “He is adorable,” one social media follower said. “I love this so much,” another fan shared. “So handsome and cute he is,” the supporter said of Asher. “So much (sic) blessings for you and your family.”
Asher joined the Leonard family earlier this year. The little one was adopted by his parents after Kenneth and Tasha attempted to expand their family by way of in-vitro fertilization.
“After all of the disappointment, and it was many times that we tried and we were disappointed, but you have to have something internally that saying, I believe that this is what is meant for me,” Tasha said of her and Kenneth’s struggles. “If you have faith for something, if you’re believing for something, don’t ever give up on it,” she added.
Asher joined his three older siblings at home. “They were crying,” Tasha shared with the press. “The kids were talking about what they were going to do. Tiffany, our youngest daughter, she was like, ‘I’m going to change diapers.’ And the oldest says, ‘He’s sleeping with me.’ And they have literally been that excited since that day, until now,” the recording artist shared. “It has never been an issue with Asher fitting into the family.”
Little Asher has fit into the family in more ways than one. It was just a few weeks ago that the little one spent time with his parents’ friend, Jonathan McReynolds, who is also a Gospel recording artist. Asher celebrated his first birthday in June.
