Aoki Lee Simmons had a fabulous time during New York Fashion Week (NYFW). Kimora Lee Simmons’ youngest daughter left her mark with several amazing runway presentations.

Aoki began her time at NYFW at the Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party. The event marked the first time the young adult attended. “I got to do the carpet,” Aoki exclaimed. “Multiple trips and stumbles but we made it to the end in one piece,” the rising model declared.

Next, the young adult walked in Sergio Hudson’s show as well as in the Tommy Hilfiger show at NYFW. “Words cannot express what tonight has meant to me,” Aoki said after taking the catwalk at the Tommy Hilfiger show. “@tommyhilfiger @thomasjhilfiger I could never express my gratitude enough,” she added.

Aoki closed out the week at the Best In Black Fashion Dinner by ESSENCE. “Thank you so much @lionneclothing and @latoiafitzgerald_ for including me this cultural celebration,” the young adult shared in reference to Latoia Fitzgerald and LIONNE clothing brand. “It was a great honor to celebrate this moment with you,” Aoki said.

The road to NYFW came with its share of challenges for Aoki Lee Simmons. The youngster received backlash from at least one of her professors at Harvard University whom she believed targeted her because of her commitment to the fashion event. Aoki questioned whether the professor would have given her such a hard time with attendance had she needed to be absent for a sporting event. Nevertheless, the young adult was able to fulfill her promises and, in doing so, put another notch in her modeling career.

Aoki Lee Simmons plans to continue her career in fashion after completing her undergraduate studies at Harvard University. Some have scrutinized her decision but the young adult has doubled down on her desires with her mom standing by her side.

Aoki is Kimora Lee Simmons’ youngest daughter with Russell Simmons. The fashion mogul has five kids in all.
