Kanye West wants his kids to attend Donda Academy. The rapper took to Instagram last week to air out a few of his grievances, which included his dissatisfaction with his and Kim Kardashian’s children attending Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth, California.
“Here is the through the line. GAP [is] having meetings about me without me,” Kanye began one of several rants he posted online. “Adidas releasing old shoes and coloring my shoes like I’m dead. Me not having a say on where my children go to school. Call me whatever names you want. If you don’t understand why I will not back down on my businesses, my brands, and my children, then you’re the ones who are crazy.”
Kanye went on to pose an idea to Kim via Instagram. “Idea,” he began. “Kids two days at Donda and three at Sierra Canyon. Or, three days at Donda and two at Sierra Cayon. Including field trips [and] busing to educational places,” the rapper said. “This is co-parenting,” Kanye concluded in his Instagram post.
Many supported the celebrity father in his endeavors to be actively involved in the lives of his kids. Kanye later took to Instagram to give an update on what he believed to be a successful conversation with his ex-wife. “Just had a good meeting with Kim about the schools,” the rapper said.
It is no secret that Kanye West does not want his children to attend Sierra Canyon School. The recording artist took to Instagram a few months back to air out his feelings about reportedly not “having a say” in his kids’ education.
“I didn’t have a say-so on whether or not they went to Sierra Canyon,” Kanye shared with his supporters and critics. “Most men do not,” he added. “There’s no such thing as 50/50 custody in society today – It always leans toward the mom, and I’m happy that you guys got to see such a small piece of what I dealt with.”
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian have four kids – North, Saint, Psalm, and Chicago – together.
