The upcoming series is based on the books by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. The live action TV series seems like one that we do not want to miss as the synopsis of the action has us all ready to watch right now! Check out what to expect below according to Deadline.
The Spiderwick Chronicles is a contemporary American gothic coming-of-age story that addresses kids and families dealing with mental health issues among other relevant topics. Upon leaving New York and moving to Michigan and into their run-down ancestral home—The Spiderwick Estate—with their mother, twin brothers Jared (Daniels) and Simon (Noah Cottrell) Grace, along with their sister Mallory, find themselves pulled into an alternate, fantastical world.
Daniels’ Jared is the adventurous, clever, and impulsive twin brother, who has been troubled by anger issues. Cottrell is the thoughtful, more rational twin Simon, who is an animal lover – Jared’s antithesis in everything. The twins have been inseparable since birth and even developed their own special “twin language,” but resentments are growing between them, threatening to disrupt their brotherly bond.

If Daniels’ face looks familiar, it should as he was a crime-fighting superhero in the Netflix hit show, We Can Be Heroes.
The Spiderwick Chronicles in addition to Daniels, will star Noah Cottrell, from HBO’s Gordita Chronicles, as Daniels’ twin brother, Simon. The cast will also include acting vet, Christian Slater, as the villain Mulgarath.
