“[I’m] just trying to pour knowledge and pour so much understanding and wisdom into them,” Ludacris shares with the media source. the celebrity father goes on to tell Kindred by Parents that he wants his daughters to understand “their intelligence, their beauty, and their purpose here in the world and that each one of those may be different … and that they come from a strong lineage of women and heritage.”

Ludacris has been hard at work on his show, Karma’s World, which inspires kids to spread compassion throughout the world. “I worked so hard on it for the last 13 years,” the celebrity father tells Kindred. “I was hoping that it would be accepted and embraced the way that it is.”

Karma’s World, which was inspired by Ludacris’ oldest daughter, has been such a hit on Netflix that dolls have been created to go along with the series. “Our guiding light, honestly, is thinking about the young Black kid at home who’s watching the show and their families,” Halcyon Person, head writer on Karma’s World, recently shared with the press.

“We talk about every episode through that lens,” Person revealed. “Because while we know that a lot of kids around the world will be watching—kids from every different experience—we know that at the core, if a show doesn’t have a clean, clear, true mission of who they’re speaking to and who their show is for, everything else will get watered down and washed out.”

Season 3 of Karma’s World debuted earlier this month. Ludacris is planning to make the concept of love that drives the brand even bigger.

“Creating Karma’s World and seeing the impact that it’s having on young Black girls, and just children in general—even parents that say they wish they had this when they were kids, that is part of the legacy of trying to balance out this world of negativity, where we wake up every day and something else is going on,” the celebrity father shared with Kindred by Parents.

“I’m being a part of the change,” Ludacris continued. “I’m just trying to tip the scale to the positive and loving side,” the celebrity father shared.
