CARMELO ANTHONY’S SON, KIYAN, IS HIGHLY PRAISED BY ANALYSTS

"Picked Up Some Of His Father's Moves"

Carmelo Anthony’s son, Kiyan, wrapped up his freshman year at Christ The King Regional High School in Middle Village, New York, a few weeks ago. The teen ended the school year and basketball season on a high note with sports analysts praising his playing skills on the court.

Kiyan stands six feet tall and already has some of the mannerisms on the court that have made his father a success. The teen does not yet have national rankings as recruiters have not released the statistics for the Class of 2025. Still, analysts are predicting Kiyan to have about a four or five-star rating when the numbers do come out.

“Anthony has a nice looking jumper and not surprisingly looks to have picked up some of his father’s moves on the wing,” Eric Bossi of 24/7 Sports said in a recent article. George Mason and Bryant appear to agree as Kiyan reportedly has offers from them.

It appears that Kiyan will indeed follow in his father’s footsteps. Does Carmelo Anthony plan to play alongside his son in the NBA like LeBron James, though? “No. No, I do not,” the NBA player said during a recent interview. “I think it will be time for me to pass him the torch,” Carmelo shared with the press. “I’d rather just pass him the torch when that time comes,” he concluded.

Kiyan Anthony has been around NBA royalty his entire life. It was just a few months ago that the teen watched as his father was honored during All-Star Weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.

“Super happy @kiyananthony got to witness such an iconic moment in history honoring his dad @carmeloanthony and the NBA 75,” Kiyan’s mom, La La Anthony, said of the occasion. “One day he will look back and really realize the greatness he was surrounded by this day,” the celebrity mom added.

Kiyan Anthony is Carmelo Anthony and La La Anthony’s only child.
