Aventer Gray, the wife of Pastor John Gray, is finding her place of peace with their kids. The Christian influencer took to Instagram last week with a cute picture of the family on vacation in Miami, which was days before John Gray was hospitalized due to a pulmonary embolism.
“Get to your peaceful place,” Aventer advised her social media fans. “Travel! Enjoy life! Enjoy God’s beauty,” the influencer suggested. Aventer went on to celebrate her life as a mom to her and John Gray’s son, John W. Gray IV, and their daughter, Theory Gray.
“My mommy told me when I first became a mom that I would rush to want them to grow up,” Aventer shared. “But the truth is: time is fleeting,” she added. “Now, I want time to slow down,” Aventer exclaimed. “They are growing so fast and beautifully. I love spending precious time with my babies!”
Aventer is enjoying motherhood while navigating the challenges of life. It was this past weekend that the celebrity mom took to Instagram to request prayers from her supporters for her husband.
“My family and I stand in need of a miracle. Please keep my husband @realjohngray in your prayers,” Aventer asked her fans on Friday (Jul. 9). “After feeling a little different over the past couple [of] weeks, he went to the ER on Thursday evening and was immediately admitted to CCU with A saddle Pulmonary Embolism in the pulmonary artery and more lung blood clots.”
Aventer went on to tell her supporters, “The Saddle PE is in a position that could potentially end his life if it shifts at all. The clot burden is severe and only God is holding it in place. He is currently in CCU and based on CT and Echo we will need two types of surgery due to the pressure now on the heart within the next 24 hours.
Aventer ended her request by assuring her social media followers of her confidence in God. “God isn’t done,” she declared. “I don’t care what CT, ECHO, All or any of the tests show,” Aventer continued. “It’s clear God isn’t finished. Clots have to bow to my God! That’s all!”
Aventer and John Gray received loads of support from celebrities such as Tyrese and Meagan Good. “I’m praying,” Meagan told Aventer. “I love you and brother.”
