Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley are in celebration mode. The celebrity couple’s daughter, Ariah, is seven years old today. Tamera took to Instagram with a birthday message to her little one.
“Happy Birthday to my baby girl who’s no longer a baby but a 7-year-old today,” Tamera wrote to Ariah. “If sunshine were a person it would be you,” the celebrity mom doted on her daughter. “Your laughter, empathy, hugs, [and] kindness are just a few things that make momma so proud and grateful to be your momma,” Tamera said. “We love you Miss Ariah Talea Housley.”
Ariah made Tamera Mowry and Adam Housley parents for the second time. The youngster joined her brother, Aden, at home days after Tamera gave birth on July 1, 2015. The Housleys’ pregnancy announcement was televised courtesy of The Real. Tamera, who was a co-host on the talk show at the time, was filmed while telling her co-workers she was pregnant. Her news made the room stop and break out in pure joy.
“Where is the time going,” Adrienne Houghton asked after seeing Tamera’s birthday wish for Ariah on Instagram on Friday (Jul. 1). Other social media fans wished the celebrity mom’s daughter well on her special day.
Motherhood has impacted Tamera’s life in the best way. It was during a 2017 heart-to-heart post on her website, created in honor of Mother’s Day, that Tamera got candid about her life as a parent.
“My children have also taught me how to be present and in the moment, which is something that can be really hard to do when you are a working mom and have a lot of responsibility in your life,” Tamera shared with her subscribers. “As a mom who can be a little OCD, my children have made me realize that it is okay to leave some dirty dishes in the sink for a while, or to not write that email right away, and to just live in the moment,” the actress said.
“I have learned that it is worth giving up a little control in my life, to be able to sit and watch a movie with them or just have time to bond.”
