“19 years ago today, @___aleska told me she was pregnant,” The Game began his message. “[The] first time I had ever heard that from anyone in my life in reference to myself,” he added. “[It] took me hours to stop her from crying by telling her everything was going to be fine and that I had her. Honestly, I didn’t even know if I could keep that promise but I made it anyway.”

Harlem was born on June 30, 2003. He made his father and mother, Aleska, parents for the first time. The Game has said that his oldest son made him a better person. “You were and always will be the motivation I needed to alter my lifestyle and become something better than I ever was before your birth,” the rapper wrote in his birthday message on Thursday.

It was just last year that Harlem finished high school with the support of his family at his graduation. The teen’s father held him like a baby to pay tribute to his first album in which The Game held a young Harlem in his arms for the promotional pictures.

“I named you Harlem ’cause that’s the first place @jimjonescapo took me my first time in New York when I landed at JFK,” The Game said in reference to the name he and Aleska decided to give their son 19 years ago. “You are the best son, person, [and] older brother that I, @calidreamofficial, and @kingjusticetaylor could ever ask for,” the rapper doted.

“Thank you for letting me teach you the way and also for becoming all that I raised you to be. You are my best friend, my world, and an absolute better version of me.”

The Game has three kids in all.
