Emmitt Smith and his estranged wife, Patricia, are in celebration mode. Their daughter, Skylar, is officially a high school graduate!
The teen walked across the stage on Tuesday (May 24). “It’s official,” Patricia exclaimed. “Skylar is a high school graduate of Greenhill School,” the celebrity mom said of her daughter’s accomplishment. “You worked hard, persevered, and conquered this stage of your journey! To God be the Glory,” Patricia exclaimed. “Congratulations Baby Girl! Mommy is so proud of YOU!”
It was just a few weeks ago that Patricia Smith took to Instagram to celebrate Skylar’s forthcoming prom. The celebrity mom commented on how quickly her daughter’s senior year was coming to a close.
“Is anyone else feeling how fast this senior year is coming to a close,” Patricia asked her social media fans. “I’m literally trying to slow down the time … grasping and clutching every last moment before our baby girl graduates next month,” the celebrity mom shared at the time.
Skylar enjoyed her prom night with a family friend who she’d known since she was younger. “It was such a great moment sending these two off to prom on Saturday,” Patricia said of Skylar and her prom date after the event convened last month. “Our kids have grown up as brothers and sisters living across the street since they were born,” the celebrity mom shared in reference to the relationship Skylar and her date held long before prom. “Now they are super tight, got each other’s back, and going to the prom,” Patricia exclaimed.

Skylar is one of three children Patricia Smith has with her estranged husband, Emmitt Smith. The two announced their plans to divorce in 2020 after two decades of marriage.
“We are publicly sharing that after much contemplation and prayer, we have decided to separate,” Patricia and Emmitt wrote in a joint statement. “We will continue to move forward with love and compassion for one another, as co-parents and friends,” the celebrity parents promised. “We will work together in the best interests of our children, our family, community, and businesses,” Patricia and Emmitt said in their statement.
