Sister, Sister! Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley reunited for a day of fun with the kids this past weekend. Both actresses shared snippets from their family time adventures with their Instagram fans.
“Family over everything,” Tia told her social media fans. “There’s nothing better than getting together with my sister @tameramowrytwo and watching our kids play together,” the Family Reunion star said. “They are getting SO BIG,” Tia exclaimed in reference to her and Tamera’s children. “We can’t believe it,” the actress continued. “These are the times I will always cherish!”
Tia and Tamera each have two children. Cree is the oldest of the group as Tia and her husband, Cory Hardrict, welcomed their son on June 28, 2011. The Hardricts also have a daughter named Cairo who celebrated her fourth birthday earlier this month.
Tamera Mowry and her husband, Adam Housley, have a son named Aden who turns 10-years-old in November. The couple’s daughter, Ariah, celebrates her seventh birthday in July.
Tamera was sure to get lots of pictures with her niece and nephew as well as her own children during her family get-together with Tia this past weekend. “Family is everything,” the actress said. “Great laughs, conversations and pure love,” Tamera shared of the gathering.
“Cree is literally your height,” one Instagram follower noted after seeing Tia’s son standing with his aunt in one candid. “Wasn’t he just born last year,” the fan. jokingly asked. Another of Tamera’s supporters agreed by saying, “These kids were just babies. I feel old.”
Tia and Tamera continue to cultivate their relationship as sisters despite circumstances that have kept them apart these past two years. The actresses were forced to see each other virtually during the beginning months of the coronavirus pandemic because of lockdowns.
Tamera also accepted a job with Hallmark that required frequent travel to New York. Still, Tia and Tamera get together whenever they can and enjoy every moment of their reunions.
