Tichina Arnold’s daughter, Alijah Kai, is making moves and music. The teen recently stopped by her mom’s event to give attendees a taste of what they can expect when her music career takes off.
The event was held in sponsorship of the We Win Foundation, which was created to provide everything from holistic and lifestyle programs to financial education to individuals living with Lupus. According to the non-profit’s website,
“[We Win Foundation] was formed to help individuals, as well as the families and caregivers who support those suffering with the ‘Cruel Mystery’ (Lupus) and other related autoimmune diseases.”
Tichina Arnold serves one of the leaders in the organization. Alijah came out on Tuesday (May 17) to support her mom and the nonprofit’s mission.
The young adult was not shy to take the microphone and blow the crowd away when the opportunity presented itself. Tichina advised her daughter to greet attendees before rendering her selection to which Alijah addressed supporters with an exuberant vibe.
“So … about last night,” Tichina told her social media fans on Wednesday (May 18). “@alijahkai @rojamesxix @iamstacybarthe – Came and rocked the house last night,” Arnold shared. Many of Tichina’s Instagram fans agreed.
“Come on now,” one social media follower exclaimed. “She’s so grown up now.” Another supporter wrote, “She has a beautiful voice; [a] strong voice.”
Alijah definitely takes after her mom in the vocal department. Some have crowned Tichina Arnold a queen when it comes to singing because of her incredible range and powerful tone.
“She has some huge shoes to fill because her mother is a gd beast behind the mic,” one YouTube fan said after listening to Alijah deliver during a session with Stevie Mackey a few months back. “Tichina has some of the best vocals I’ve ever heard in my almost 50 years on this rock,” the social media follower further doted.
“I’d pay to hear her sing the phone book,” the fan added. “It makes me smile to know that Tichina is taking her daughter under her wing. Wishing her all the best.”
