Monique Samuels got in touch with nature during the family’s recent trip to Kenya. The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) star recently shared pictures from her latest adventure that were nothing short of stunning.
One candid featured the Samuels family sitting in front of a giraffe. The animal must have known it was time to shine in the spotlight as the pose was perfect for the shot. “Now this is what brought us to Kenya and it has not disappointed,” Monique exclaimed on her Instagram page. “Wow,” the RHOP star continued. “Truly breathtaking. What an amazing opportunity to bond with nature.”
Several of Monique’s social media fans agreed that the picture and video clip the celebrity uploaded was nothing short of perfection. “This picture is everything,” one social media follower exclaimed. “Y’all are so d*mn beautiful,” Jessica Mbali Fyre said.
Monique Samuels has taken time away from the spotlight to spend more quality time with her family. It was just a few months ago that the celebrity mom responded to criticism that deemed her as a bad role model for her daughter. The scrutiny came after drama ensued during filming for RHOP.
“To say that I’m not a role model to MY DAUGHTER is not only judgmental but insensitive,” Monique told her critics. “I will always be the best role model for my daughter because I keep it real with her,” Samuels continued.
“I’m open with her about my mistakes, my successes, and my personal struggles,” Monique shared. “I push her to be BETTER than me which is what any parent wants for their children. I teach her how to pick herself up when she falls. Being a mom is not easy but I do my best to be transparent with my children so that they can be their best selves.”
Monique and her husband Chris Samuels have three kids – Chase, Milani, and Christopher – in all.
