Melanie Fiona is basking in the joy of motherhood. The celebrity recently took to Instagram to commemorate her baby girl’s development.
“We’ve been in a LOVE cocoon,” Melanie told her social media fans. “Kaia Love is officially 1-month-old, and it’s been a beautiful and humbling experience,” Fiona shared. “We think she might be part vampire cause she sleeps all day, and is up all night … which has @jaredcotter and I tag teaming on a whole new level of parenting,” the celebrity mom said.
Kaia Love was born on December 18, 2021. The little one arrived just in time for Christmas. “This little life, born on the last full moon of the year came in with purpose and power from jump,” Melanie told her social media fans last month. “She is the most perfect addition to our family and we are soaking up every moment to be present and mindful during this very sacred time.”
Melanie Fiona and her husband, Jared Cotter, announced their expectancy last July. Melanie shared a candid of her family on Instagram along with the caption, “Here we GROW again.” Fiona also took time to thank fans for their well wishes on her birthday. “My heart is so full,” the celebrity mom said.
“Every day brings something new,” Melanie Fiona said of her life as the mother of a newborn daughter this past weekend. “I’m enjoying every new experience of learning who she is,” the recording artist shared. “It’s wild to think,” Melanie said. “I made this little person, yet I still have so much to learn about her … and from her.”
Kaia Love is Jared Cotter and Melanie Fiona’s second child. The celebrity couple’s son, Cameron Lincoln, celebrates his sixth birthday in March.
