Congratulations to Melanie Fiona and her husband, Jared Cotter, on the expectancy of their second child. Melanie took to Instagram on Monday (July 5) to celebrate her family’s growth.
“Here we grow again,” Melanie told her social media fans. “My heart is so full,” the recording artist added. “Motherhood and music,” Melanie hashtagged at the end of her post.
Melanie Fiona and Jared Cotter welcomed their son, Cameron Lincoln Cotter, in 2016. The celebrity couple tied the marital knot last year.
“Anything is possible,” Melanie told her social media fans after marrying Jared. “We had to postpone our wedding three times this year,” Fiona told her supporters.
“We had to accept that a full ceremony with our loved ones could not be possible until 2021,” the celebrity added. “But we also knew we wanted to be married this year. So, we made it happen,” Melanie exclaimed. “We took what was in our control and saw it through. On 12-12-2020, I married my best friend, my partner, my twin flame, in the most perfectly (sic) possible way.”
Fiona went on to encourage her social media followers to remain positive even when things do not go as planned. “Remember, things might not look the way you envisioned, but if you’re willing to surrender, to detach from your ideals and expectations, you can joyfully find your way back to the intention,” the celebrity mom said. “The reason you started in the first place. What you feel, what you see, here, is a reflection of that intention.”
Melanie Fiona shared her birth story with the public after giving birth to Cameron in 2016. The celebrity shared her motivation to tell her fans about the experience during a recent interview with ESSENCE.
“There were times where I wanted to do it earlier on after I became pregnant and I wasn’t ready,” Melanie shared with the press. “I didn’t feel like I was strong enough to be able to share, or I hadn’t even processed everything that happened, so I waited my six weeks for my doctor to say, ‘Hey, you’re okay, you can start to work your way back to wherever it is you want to go to from a physical standpoint and you’re in the clear, your health is okay.’ So, once I got the okay, that’s what made me feel like it was time for me to share the truth.”
Melanie Fiona and Jared Cotter are expecting their second child to arrive in the coming months. The couple’s son celebrated his fifth birthday in March.
