Ciara is on the mend after injuring her knee while ice skating with her kids. The celebrity mom discussed the aftermath of her decision to go fast as suggested by her daughter, Sienna Wilson.
“Well, it looks like I took ice skating a little too seriously,” Ciara told her husband, Russell Wilson, in a video clip. “Sisi said, “Go fast, mommy,'” Ciara shared of her daughter’s suggestion to speed up while skating on ice. Ciara went fast and scraped her knee in the end.
The Wilson family had fun while ice skating despite Ciara injuring herself. “Motherhood looks good on Ciara,” one BCK fan said. “You can really see she loves being a mommy,” the social media follower continued. “Her children are beautiful and they adore her! Love to see it!”
Ciara and Russell Wilson are determined to make the world a better place. The celebrity couple recently raised $2.7 million for Seattle Children’s Hospital through their Why Not Foundation.
“Grateful we can make a difference,” Russell Wilson told his social media fans. “@Ciara and I are blessed to raise $2.7 MILLION for @SeattleChildrens through our @WhyNotYouFdn,” the NFL star told his supporters. “Thank you to our community, @Safeway’s Partnership, and all involved in making this a reality for the youth! #ImmunoHeroes is our initiative for T-Cell therapy to help young kids to keep overcoming cancer!”
Ciara and Russell Wilson are no strangers to Seattle Children’s Hospital. The celebrity couple has made several visits to the medical facility to brighten the days of patients. Ciara and Russell have also given support to the staff at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Some may remember when the Wilsons teamed up with Amazon Home to surprise Mona and Marc Sellier with new furniture and a mini home renovation. Marc, a registered nurse at Seattle Children’s Hospital, and his wife were overwhelmed by such generosity.

“We know you’ve been working so hard at Seattle Children’s Hospital and you know Seattle Children’s are a huge part of our world and really important to us on every level,” Ciara told Marc. “While we know you’ve been working so hard, we also know you guys have faced many challenges,” the ‘Level Up’ singer added.
“We know your home got flooded and that was so unfortunate,” Ciara told the couple. “But what’s really fortunate is we’re teaming up with Amazon Home to get your place looking good. We’re going to level up your place.”
Ciara and Russell Wilson gave hundreds of families in need meals at the start of the worldwide pandemic in 2020. You can learn more about their Why Not You Foundation here.
