“A Hawaii Merry Christmas 2021,” Wade captioned a post on his official Instagram account.
Union, Wade, and Kaavia James were also joined on their Holiday vacation trip by Chad Easterling, Nicole Lyn and their son Crosby Sparrow.
Union snapped and posted an adorable pic of Kaavia James and Crosby, playing together in matching pj’s.
The Bring it On alum cheerfully posted a video on her social media, captioning it, “Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 🌈🥶 Love & Light Good People.”
In 2014, Wade and Union became husband and wife, welcoming daughter Kaavia James to the family in 2018. Union is stepmother to Wade’s other three children, Zaya, 14-years-old, Zaire Blessing Dwayne, 19-years-old, and Xavier Zechariah, eight-years-old.
It is no secret that the former Miami Heat is a dedicated family man that loves his children, parents, and wife. In his photographic memoir, Dwyane, the basketball great expresses his love for all.
Wade told People Magazine in a recent interview that his memoir delves into his own personal journey, learning what he wanted and didn’t want for his own family.
“Because life isn’t perfect, and every situation won’t be perfect, it’s the quality of the moments you spend with someone,” he said. “It’s the attention to detail with someone that means more than a parent that is home all day, every day.”
Wade went on to discuss with the popular news outlet his parenting style and how he allows his children to simply be themselves.
“I think kids appreciate when you try to get to know them,” Wade told the popular news outlet. “And you know what I’ve always tried to do with my kids, from Zaire all the way down to Xavier, from Kaav and Zaya, I try to meet them where they’re at, and I don’t try to always bring them to where I want them to be, or my world.”
He added to the discussion, “So if Xavier is into Fortnite, then I’m going to try to learn as much about Fortnite as I can to meet him where he’s at so we can have conversations about Fortnite, right?”
We cannot get enough of this amazing family. We cannot wait to see what they bring to 2022!
