Christmas cheer is spreading around everywhere; however, Gabrielle Union and Dwayne Wade’s daughter Kaavia James is not here for it.

Over the weekend,  Gabrielle Union took to her Instagram to share a video from her daughter’s school pageant. In the clip, Miss Shady Baby looked like she was in the Christmas spirit fashion-wise as she donned a red and white Santa-esk dress.

But, she really wasn’t in the groove to get onstage and join her classmates for the annual holiday show. And of course, the Internet ate it up!

Activist Tarana Burke commented under the post, “Kaavia said BAH HUMBUG!!”

Actress and mom Jenna Dewan wrote on Union’s post, “This gave me the best laugh i love this little soul!”
Another user posted, “They too Holly and Jolly for her!”

“Her “resting Babyface” is hilarious,” one Instagram follower wrote.

And another user let us in on exactly what Kaavia was thinking, “Kaavia looking like “I’m not getting paid enough for this ish.”

On Kaavia James’s official social media account, she definitely let people in on her thoughts as the caption for the same video reads, “If you were wondering how my holiday pageant at school went… We shoulda done The Grinch. #ShadyBaby.”

As for memes, Twitter user Claire De Lune posted one of the best of this “Christmas moment” that we have seen so far!  She shared a screencap of Kaavia during the show and captioned, “Me trying to be festive after 2 years of living in a pandemic with another variant looming.”

This isn’t the first time that Kaavia James has spurred a meme with her “mood.” She has had several meme-worthy moments throughout her three years, but one of the ones that caught everyone’s attention, even Oprah’s, was a 2020 moment where she was “just thinking.”
