Swizz Beatz ad Mashonda Tifrere’s son, Kasseem Dean Jr., celebrated his fifteenth birthday earlier this week. The teen’s parents took to Instagram to commemorate his special day.

“HAPPY 15th Birthday Kasseem JR – a.k.a. KJ A☺️aka Booster, a.k.a. YAYA 🎂🎂🎂,” Swizz shared on Wednesday (Dec. 22). “We are proud of your growth, King, and we wish you many more days of love and happiness,” the celebrity father wrote to his son. “You also share a bday with the great Basquiat,” Swizz observed. “Keep flying, K. We love you to the MAX!”
Mashonda wrote, “And then 15 came. Praying you have a beautiful, blessed, prosperous year. It’s crazy that 5 years ago you were 10 but 5 years from now you’ll be 20. Crazyyyy! Honored to be on this journey with you son.”
Kasseem Dean Jr. continues to explore various art paths with the full support of his parents. Mashonda recently delved into how co-parenting with both Swizz Beatz and his wife, Alicia Keys, cultivates a beautiful environment that encourages innovation in her son.
“I have found that co-parenting does not become blending until you develop a relationship with your ex’s current partner,” Mashonda said of her relationship with Alicia Keys. “When your ex commits to some- one new, that person becomes a co-parent to your child by default,” the celebrity mom explained.

“Your relationship with her needs to be as fluid and healthy as the one you now share with your ex. This will free her to love your child openly, and helps your child to thrive and be at peace,” Tifrere shared. “Once you fully embrace each other’s ability to nurture the children involved, an appreciation and love for each other will likely follow,” Mashonda continued.
“Forward-thinking and ego- less actions will allow you to realize that motherhood and sisterhood walk hand in hand. Blending my family for the sake of a healthy environment for all of our children is one of the most important decisions I have ever made in my life.”
Kasseem Dean Jr. is Mashonda Tifrere’s only child with Swizz Beatz. The teen is his father’s second-oldest child. Swizz Beatz has five kids in all.
