Machine Gun Kelly and his daughter, Casie Colson Baker, were the daddy-daughter duo of the night at the 2021 American Music Awards. The recording artist surprised the masses with his red carpet appearance at Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California, this past Sunday (Nov. 21).
Casie does not make many public appearances, which is why fans were so excited to see the youngster with her father at the awards show. Machine Gun Kelly, whose real name is Colson Baker, held his daughter’s hand while matching her dress with attire in line with his brand.
Many know Machine Gun Kelly as a Hip Hop artist. The entertainer recently expressed regret in filling his schedule with shows and other gigs to suppress his problems.
“I’m so work-obsessed and I’m so busy trying to block out my demons with jobs,” the celebrity admitted. “I’m getting sick of wearing a smile because I just don’t have anything behind the smile anymore,” Machine Gun Kelly added. “I don’t ever want to grow up,” the recording artist continued. “Maturing and becoming a better me is absolutely first on my agenda.”
Machine Gun Kelly lived on the edge throughout his adolescent years. Some of the celebrity’s behavior led to legal troubles when he was a teen.
“I’d say sorry to my father,” Machine Gun Kelly shared during a recent interview with British GQ. “I have such a rule-abiding, amazing daughter and I was such a rule-breaking, s—ty son,” the celebrity father said. “The legal fees, the tens of thousands of dollars from the times I got arrested, the finding out your son missed a whole semester of high school because he was waking up and pretending to go but never going.”
Machine Gun Kelly’s father passed away last June. The celebrity welcomed his daughter in 2009 when Machine Gun Kelly was 19-years-old.
