Happy Birthday, Blaze Tucker! Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker celebrated their daughter’s second birthday over the weekend with a beautiful party.
Both Kandi and Todd took to Instagram to commemorate their daughter’s special day. “It’s my baby @blazetucker’s bday,” Kandi exclaimed. “She’s my little firecracker,” the Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star further explained. “I can’t believe she’s 2 already,” the celebrity mom gushed. “I thank God for my little blessing. Everybody give Blaze some bday love!
Blaze received so much birthday love that she fell asleep in her father’s arms at the end of the day. “The bday girl @blazetucker needed a nap after her bday turn up yesterday,” Todd Tucker shared with his Instagram fans on Monday (Nov. 22). “I love these moments,” the celebrity father added.
Blaze Tucker is, in many ways, Todd and Kandi’s miracle child. The celebrities welcomed their daughter by way of a surrogate on November 22, 2019, after Kandi desired to have another child but could not conceive and carry by traditional means.
Kandi has been quite open about the surrogacy process and a hurtful comment from a family friend that cut deeply. “It makes me emotional,” Kandi said of the comment during a recent segment of Me Becoming Mom. “I don’t think she was trying to hurt my feelings. But when she saw it, or heard that I was doing it, she was just like, ‘Aren’t you afraid that you’re not gonna bond with your baby?'”
“She’s older, so I guess her initial thinking is like just because somebody doesn’t physically have their baby that they won’t be able to have that same bond as a mother who physically pushed the baby out,” Burruss further explained. “And I can tell you for sure, if you ever had a doubt in your mind, that is not true,” the celebrity mom declared.
Blaze Tucker is one of two biological children Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker share. The celebrities parent four kids in all.
