Kid reporter Jazlyn, a.k.a. Jazzy, is possibly ending the great debate of whether to take $500,000 or accept a dinner invitation with Jay-Z instead. The youngster recently caught up with the Hip Hop mogul, whose real name is Shawn Carter, to ask about tips for success.
“All the kids have dreams of being successful like you,” Jazzy told Jay-Z. “What advice can you give them?” the kid reporter asked.
Jay-Z responded to Jazzy’s question by saying, “Believe in yourself even before anyone else believes in you,” Carter told the young reporter. “You’ve got to have ultimate confidence like you do,” the businessman complimented the young journalist. “You’re very confident,” Jay further doted on Jazzy. “And just believe in yourself.”

Many people who viewed the now-viral video felt that Jazzy’s interview was a great example of what would happen if one were to have dinner with Jay-Z. Many folks who considered accepting a dinner invitation with the rap mogul in lieu of $500,000 weren’t too happy with Jay-z’s advice. “When you choose dinner with Jay-Z and he just tells you, ‘Believe in yourself’, one Twitter user wrote.
“The debate is over,” another Twitter fan said after seeing a tweet on Jay-Z’s TIDAL feed that read, “Take the $500K.” Another social media fan wrote, “Jay-Z said enough is enough.”
Jazzy certainly has the drive it takes to be successful. Nino Valdes recently sang the praises of the young reporter because of her determination to interview Jay-Z.
“I always told her, ‘You have to make the dream a reality to make them believe in it,'” Valdes shared with his social media fans. “Lil mama grinds harder than most adults!!! Trust @jazzysworldtv is the future. She had a plan and stuck to it!!! Thank you Mr. Carter for sharing time in your busy day to bless baby girl with an interview.”
