Yung Miami of City Girls and producer Southside commemorated their daughter’s birthday this past weekend. The celebrity parents gave their little one a Tutti Frutti-themed party that was nothing short of fabulous.
The venue was decorated from top to bottom with items that pushed the theme forward. Yung Miami and Southside gave special attention to the details with chairs crafted just for little Summer and her friends. “My heart,” Southside wrote in the comments section of Yung Miami’s birthday post on Instagram.
“The love of my life,” the celebrity father gushed. “I love you,” Southside wrote to Summer. “I’m so thankful for you and your brothers and sisters,” the producer doted. “Happy birthday, love bug.”
The news of Yung Miami’s expectancy of Summer came at a time when the recording artist was making key moves in her career. Yung Miami, real name Caresha Brownlee, was reluctant to share the news with the public for fear of being judged. She was also concerned about her ability to fulfill performance requests during her pregnancy journey. Nevertheless, Yung Miami shared the news of her expectancy along with her excitement about having another child.
“At first I was nervous because I was afraid of all of the backlash I was gonna receive, but in reality, I received a lot of love,” Yung Miami said of the reactions to her expectancy. “Everyone was very supportive of me, so I feel honored and blessed,” the recording artist shared.
Yung Miami went out of her way to celebrate her daughter’s first birthday just as she went to great lengths to make Summer’s second birthday memorable this year. The celebrity mom told her fans she spent upwards of $70,000 on festivities for Summer’s first birthday party last year.
