Serena Williams and her daughter, Alexis Olympia, are making their way in fashion. The celebrity mom and her daughter were recently featured in their first fashion campaign for Stuart Weitzman.
Alexis came ready to impress for the photoshoot. The youngster gave the camera just enough attitude to capture the viewer’s attention. Serena Williams’ daughter also used her cuteness to command presence in the pictures.
“The adventures of Serena and Olympia continue,” Serena shared with her social media fans after the successful photo session. “This time with @stuartweitzman,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. Williams uploaded a short video clip of her having fun on set with her daughter as well.
“Being on set with Olympia to shoot this campaign meant so much to me, and it is a moment together I will never forget,” Williams said during an interview segment with Stuart Weitzman staff. “Waking up every day to see her so happy to see me is a feeling I never thought I would experience,” the celebrity mom continued. “While I try to teach her how to be a positive influence, she in fact teaches me how to be a stronger person every day. It’s the best part about being a mom.”
Serena Williams is recharging with family after competing in this year’s Australian Open. The tennis champion was knocked out of the semi-finals round by Naomi Osaka who went on to win the tournament. Some wondered if Serena’s loss during the Australian Open was a sign of her impending retirement from tennis. The star athlete did not answer questions regarding the future of her career. Serena did, however, address her loyal fans after her final match in the Australian Open.
“Melbourne and my Australian fans – Today was not an ideal outcome or performance but it happens,” Williams shared on Instagram after losing to Osaka. “I am so honored to be able to play in front of you all,” the Grand Slam champion continued. “Your support -your cheers, I only wish I could have done better for you today. I am forever in debt and grateful to each and every single one of you. I love you. I love you. I love you. I adore you.”
Alexis Olympia is Serena Williams’ only child with her husband, Alexis Ohanian Sr. She turns 4-years-old this year.
