Kenya Moore made her debut on Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) on Monday (Sept. 20) with her daughter, Brooklyn Daly, in her cheering section. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star shared a candid of her daughter wearing a dress that matched her mother’s attire on the day of her debut performance.
“@thebrooklyndaly couldn’t make it to the @dancingabc show but she dressed the part,” Kenya told her social media fans. The celebrity mom uploaded a picture of her daughter wearing a red dress that was styled after her mom’s dress on the show. “Such a doll,” Shamea Morton told Kenya. “You were fantastic,” Carlos King said.
Kenya Moore was indeed in the groove as she took the stage with her partner, Brandon Armstrong. “My partner and newest friend/protector and confidant @brandonarmstrong is an incredible teacher, dancer, and choreographer,” Kenya told her social media fans. The RHOA star also encouraged her supporters to vote “if you want to see more dances from us.”
Kenya is competing on DWTS while going through a divorce. The RHOA decided to move forward with marriage dissolution a few months back after trying to repair her marriage all last year.
“I had a court appearance the other day for my divorce … right before rehearsal,” Kenya told Access on Monday night. “So of course, I come in all flustered,” the celebrity added. Brandon served as Moore’s support through the rough moments.
“For me, this is kind of like my happy ending,” Kenya shared with the press on Monday. “This is me doing me,” the Reality TV star added. “This is me finally taking control over my situation and just starting a new chapter of happiness.”
