Shaq’s ex-wife, Shaunie O’Neal and her daughters, Me’arah and Mimi, were in attendance at The Pump Group Soiree at The Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, for Dana Pump’s charity event to fight cancer last week. The Basketball Wives star and her family had all hands on deck to rally behind the event.

Shaunie’s new beau, Pastor Keion Henderson was also in attendance at the event. “This past weekend @iamshaunie and I served with @dana_pump to help end cancer,” Pastor Henderson told his social media fans after the event concluded. “My grandmother died of this dreaded disease,” the clergyman continued. “If you or someone you know has ever been affected by this vicious condition I am praying for you today.”

The Harold and Carole Pump Foundation was established by Dana Pump and his mother, Carole Pump, to honor Dana’s father and Carole’s husband, Harold Pump, who lost his battle with cancer in 2000. Carole passed away in 2012 but the organization, nevertheless, continues to provide financial support to the cause of finding a cure for cancer.

According to the non-profit’s website,

“The mission of the Foundation is to raise funds and create awareness for the treatment and cure of cancer. By engaging the community, sports leaders, and those touched by this disease, financial support is given to the development of cancer treatments, programs, and services, as well as the procurement of advanced medical technology.”

It is estimated that nearly two million new cases of cancer will be diagnosed by the end of the year. More than 600,000 individuals are expected to die of some form of cancer this year.

“I was diagnosed with stage 4 rectal cancer with metastasis to the liver and lymph nodes incurable July 2020,” one Instagram fan said in response to Pastor Keion Henderson’s post about supporting The Harold and Carole Pump Foundation. “I suffer with [cancer] now and this is a Wonderful organization that I have been introduced to,” another of the pastor’s supporters said.
