King Von and Skylar Knight’s baby girl has arrived! Skylar announced the arrival of her baby girl on Friday (July 10, 2021).
“Demi Rowe,” Knight shared with her Instagram fans. “July 10, 2021,” the entrepreneur said in reference to the date of her daughter’s birth. “7 pounds 11oz. 20 inches. 9:16 P.M.”
Demi Rowe’s birth comes eight months after King Von was murdered outside an Atlanta Club. Footage from the tragic night showed the rapper involved in a verbal argument with a group before the altercation turned physical. Security footage showed King Von fall to the ground after he was shot by one of the individuals with whom he was arguing.
“[The] physical altercation escalated into an exchange of gunfire with those groups,” Atlanta police Deputy Chief Timothy Peek told the press regarding the incident. “Two police officers who were working at that particular club, or lounge, noticed the altercation and engaged some of the people involved,” Peek continued. “There was an exchange of gunfire with police as well.”
Several fans have come to conclusions about who they believe to be King Von’s murderer. Police, however, have not identified a potential culprit.
Skylar Knight wrote a beautiful message to her daughter’s father on August 9, 2021, which would have been King Von’s twenty-seventh birthday. “Happy Heavenly Birthday Von,” Knight shared. “God knows how heavy My Heart feels,” she added. “Thank you for shining your light on me … until we meet again … Demi and I Love you!”
Demi is King Von’s youngest child. The rapper also fathered two kids of whom he often shared pictures online.
King Von’s manager, Track, revealed the late rapper’s business savvy when discussing his life after his murder. “He owns all his masters,” Track said. “He wasn’t an artist that sold his publishing. So, everything belongs to him,” the late rapper’s manager continued. “It’s a blessing from God because his kids and his family will be good for the rest of their lives.”
