Brandy and her daughter, Sy’rai Smith, are taking over Instagram. The celebrity mom and her daughter recently shared candids while rocking braids.
Brandy uploaded a side-by-side candid of her with Sy’rai wearing braids. “What about us,” Brandy asked. “@syraismith, I love you more than love,” the recording artist wrote to her daughter.
“She’s your twin,” Tammy Rivera told Brandy. “Wait so, Sy’rai is definitely gonna play Baby Bran in the biopic,” another fan said.
Sy’rai could very well portray her mom in a biopic about Brandy’s life. The young adult sings extremely well like her mom and also has a stage presence like her famous mother. Sy’rai is also honing into her independent vibes as a young adult. The aspiring recording artist recently revealed her weight loss transformation that inspired Sy’rai’s fans.
“Nobody truly knows what she’s been through,” Brandy told her social media fans. “So blessed and overjoyed to see her healthy and happy,” the celebrity mom said of her daughter.
“She looks amazing,” Claudia Jordan said. Another of Brandy’s social media followers wrote, “Yesssssss!!! The hardest part is starting. Shout out to the ladies taking control and being strong enough to be dedicated to this lifestyle change.”
Sy’rai Smith has been instrumental in impacting fans and her mother. It was just last year that Brandy explained how her daughter helped her come out of depression.
“I was a little bit lost eight years ago musically, creatively, spiritually,” Brandy told media. “I had to pull myself together, I had to pull it all together and make it all make sense,” the recording artist said.
“I remember laying in bed super depressed,” Brandy continued. “I [told] myself, ‘So, you’re just going to go out like this? That’s wack. You have a daughter. If you can’t do it for yourself, do it for her because this is not the way to leave a mark in her life.”
Sy’rai Smith celebrated her nineteenth birthday in June. She is Brandy’s daughter with producer Robert “Bert” Smith.
