Kel Mitchell is a doting dad. The comedian recently shared photos of his kids, Wisdom and Honor, with his Instagram fans.
One candid showed Wisdom hugging her younger brother as he smiled while looking at the camera. Kel commented on his daughter’s tight grip on her little brother. “Us: When we take this picture Wisdom don’t hug your brother too tight,” Kel told his social media fans. “Wisdom: sure,” the celebrity father mused in reference to his daughter’s reaction to her parents’ advice.
“She almost choked him out with love,” one social media follower mused. “Headlock Sibling LOVE=TRUE LOVE,” another fan joked.
Kel Mitchell and Asia Lee welcomed their youngest child, Honor, last October. Their son came three years after their daughter’s birth.
Many associate Kel Mitchell with Good Burger and automatically assume the comedian is nearly a chef in the kitchen. Kel, however, recently revealed his love for cooking while admitting that he is not the epitome of perfection in the culinary field.
“I’ve definitely left the stove [unattended while] playing with the kids and then it was in there too long and burnt some lasagna on accident,” Mitchell shared during an interview with Just Add Color. “These things happen,” he added. “So it’s super funny to see other people do it and it’s like, ‘Oh, okay. I’m not the only one.'”
Kel often dotes on his family in social media posts. It was a few months ago that the veteran entertainer wrote a beautiful note to his wife on Mother’s Day.
“My Beautiful Wife, I’m so very thankful and grateful I get to share this life with you,” Kel wrote to Asia Lee. “Amazing Mother and outstanding Wife,” the celebrity father exclaimed. “You deserve the best not only on Mother’s Day but every day,” he added. “Every day you bring joy to my heart and our children’s heart. God made you just for me a masterpiece that gives me total peace. Thank you for all you do. I love you.”
Kel Mitchell has two kids, Wisdom and Honor, and four kids in all.
