Kel Mitchell’s ex-wife, Tyisha Hampton, is putting him on blast for allegedly being a deadbeat dad who owes her money for unpaid child support and tax debt. The actress took to social media to air out her frustrations regarding her relationship with her ex-husband.
“I’m no longer going to be a victim,” Tyisha told her social media fans. “I’m collecting everything I’m owed,” the celebrity exclaimed. “If you are a fan of his, let him know #payyourex,” Hampton advised. “You can’t be a man of God and not take care of your past responsibilities! You cannot continue being a hypocrite!”
Tyisha Hampton and Kel Mitchell were married for six years before ending their marriage in 2005. The celebrities have two kids – Allure, 19, and Lyric, 21 – whom Tyisha accused Kel of neglecting. The actress also told her fans that her ex-husband, who recently went public with his spiritual journey as a pastor, had tax debts that led to her incarceration.
“I went to jail for his IRS TAX Debt,” Tyisha exclaimed. “Yep, I’m spilling it all, until I get my money,” the actress continued. “Let’s let him know you can’t do this to your kids and your ex,” Hampton told her fans while also asking them to share her social media post. “Make him Accountable,” the celebrity exclaimed.
Tyisha accused Kel of being a deadbeat dad and deadbeat celebrity in hashtags. The actress defended her claims by telling fans her ex-husband purchased a home for $800,000 last year while earning $630,000. Yet, according to Tyisha, Kel did not attempt to repay the child support he owed, which is reportedly around $1.2 million.
Kel Mitchell has four kids in all. The celebrity often takes to Instagram to share updates about his life as a family man and pastor. In fact, Kel invited his social media followers to tune into church services last year.
