Kel Mitchell enjoyed a sweet moment with his daughter, Wisdom, earlier this week. The celebrity father recently shared a video clip that featured him blow-drying his little one’s hair after she got it wet during her bathing session.
“A Dad’s gotta do what a Dad’s gotta do,” Kel told his Instagram fans. “Wisdom took her shower cap off and dipped under the water during her bath time and got her braids wet,” the celebrity father explained. “Her hairstyle that @therealasialee did for her still looks good so I just needed to dry it,” Mitchell shared. “[I] can’t have her go to bed with wet hair. So I’m drying each braid. Love these moments.”
Kel Mitchell and his wife, Asia Lee, made their daughter a big sister last year. The couple welcomed a son, Honor, in October.
“[Wisdom’s] kinda getting used to it,” Kel recently said of how his daughter is handling her new role as a big sister. “Now it’s like, ‘Okay, I’m a big sister now. He’s getting some of my attention. What’s going on?'”
“So we’ve been helping her get through that by her helping us,” the celebrity father shared. “So it’s like, ‘This is for the baby — grab this for the baby.’ She’s been excited to do that.”
Kel Mitchell has four children – Wisdom, Honor, Allure, and Lyric – in all. The celebrity’s older kids, Allure and Lyric, are in the young adult stage of life.
“Every child is different and you have to spend time with them each individually and learn them,” Mitchell recently shared with the press. “How beautiful it is seeing them learn and navigate the journey through life,” Kel said. “I’m just happy God is allowing me to be their parent because they’re His children but it’s just awesome that He left me with them.”
