Nicki Minaj feels guilty when she is away from her baby boy. The ‘TROLLZ’ rapper recently revealed that she feels bad when she has to leave her son, who she affectionately calls “Papa Bear,” for business engagements.
“He is so sweet and so precious and he’s so smart and alert, but he’s so friendly,” Nicki said in praise of her little one. “He is a people person, which I didn’t know was going to happen,” the rapper revealed. “I didn’t know he was going to love people.”
Nicki Minaj welcomed her son on September 30, 2020. The little one’s arrival was a shock to some fans who learned of Nicki Minaj’s pregnancy weeks before she gave birth.
“My mother-in-law was here for [the] 4th of July and for awhile and he was so in love with his grandma,” Nicki recently told her fans of her son’s growth and development. “She has built a really dope bond with him since he was born so now as soon as she comes downstairs, he’ll wait right there, asking her to pick him up. And then she’ll pick him up and he’ll be caressing her face and staring at her,” Minaj told her fans.
Nicki went on to empower her supporters who are working moms. “To the women that have to get up and go to work every day and leave the baby and put the baby in daycare, God bless you,” Minaj shared. “I know that’s not easy,” she added. “I can do a photoshoot for two hours and when I see my baby after that, I feel guilty,” Nicki shared from her personal experiences. “I feel like oh my God and he is just so cute.”
“Papa Bear” is Nicki Minaj’s first child with her husband, Kenneth Petty. The rapper celebrates two years of marriage this year.
