La La Anthony is a mother first. The celebrity recently sat down with Tamron Hall in which she discussed how her work schedule revolves around her son, Kiyan Anthony.
“As long as I prioritize him first, which he’ll always be first over anything I’m doing, then kind of everything else falls into place after that,” La La told Tamron. “But Kiyan comes before any job or anything at all times, and everyone I work with or anyone who’s a part of what I’m doing knows that,” the celebrity mom clarified.
Kiyan Anthony celebrated his fourteenth birthday a few weeks ago. His mom allowed him to establish himself on Instagram last month.

“He asked me every day for the last like two or three years,” La La shared. “I was so worried and so against it,” the celebrity mom admitted. “I finally caved in about a month ago, and so far it’s been good. We’ve had no issues.”
Kiyan Anthony is becoming quite the athlete. Some believe the youngster is following his father Carmelo Anthony’s footsteps as a basketball player.

“Kiyan and I do work out together,” La La told Tamron Hall. “He’s an incredible basketball player,” the celebrity mom added. “So I go to his practices a lot. A lot of it is me watching him workout. But seeing him in the gym and how focused he is … it motivates me to be more on it because I don’t just want to be sitting around while he’s busting his butt, doing all of that stuff,” Anthony mused. “So he has been a great motivation.”
Motivation comes in many forms for La La. Such is the reason why the celebrity works to balance her work and home life. “Before for me, anytime I wasn’t working, I felt like I wasn’t doing enough or I felt guilty or I felt bad,” Anthony shared with Hall. “And I realized it all goes hand in hand. I’m going to work smarter and harder and better.”
