Tyrese arrived at the world premiere of his upcoming movie, F9, on Friday alongside his 13-year-old daughter Shayla Gibson. The teen looked casual in jeans and Jordan sneakers as she posed on the red carpet with her dad.
“My daughter Shayla wants to grow up so badly I just won’t let her,” Tyrese told his social media fans. “Yup,” he continued, “she’s 13 and wearing J’s but in my mind, she is and will forever be my baby.”
Adding, “Shay please stop growing up PLEASE!!!!!! My forever baby my firstborn my world my everything!”
Gibson took to Instagram to share several shots from the premiere, including a photo of Vanessa Bryant and daughter Natalia Bryant.
“Can I be honest? Tonight was a magic night but being able to hug @vanessabryant and her beautiful daughter @nataliabryant sing her/their praises to them about their strength and resilience made my whole night……., he captioned of the shot”

Gibson, who stars as Roman in the film, recently revealed that the FURIOUS franchise would soon be coming to an end.
“We’re tapping out after 11, officially,” Tyrese said during a recent appearance on LIVE With Kelly and Ryan. “Every story deserves its own ending,” the celebrity continued. “I know people are going to feel like it doesn’t have to end, but I think all good things should. There are reasons for a finale. I think this franchise has deserved it.”
