Wednesday night was big for Kobe Bryant as he bid farewell to the NBA with his wife and kids by his side. Prior to the game, Vanessa and the girls shared a beautiful video message that thanked the star player for his many years of service.
“Hi baby,” Vanessa began. “We want to congratulate you on your amazing career as a Los Angeles Laker. It’s been such a blessing for our girls and I to be there with you every step of the way, and we’re looking forward to spending time together as a family,” she continued. Vanessa told Kobe that she and the girls are ready to travel and do a myriad of other things that he has not been able to do since beginning his career two decades ago.
