“Daddy, Mommy, Gigi, Bianka and Capri are so proud of you @nataliabryant!!!” the proud mom added alongside a clip of a bejeweled mortarboard bearing a quote from the late Kobe Bryant. The quote reads “Everything negative — pressure, challenges — is all an opportunity for me to rise.”

Vanessa also posted a video of her daughter walking onstage to accept her diploma. “Congratulations Natalia! We will ALL be with you every step of the way,” she wrote under the clip.

Natalia will be heading to her dream school, the University of Southern California, in the fall.

“Tears of joy,” Vanessa wrote back in March after Natalia’s acceptance into USC. “I’m SO happy for you Nani,” the celebrity mom wrote to her daughter. “I know daddy is so PROUD OF YOU. I am so PROUD OF YOU!! Your hard work and dedication was (sic) so worth it. You pushed through the most excruciating pain imaginable and you succeeded. I wish Daddy and Gigi were physically here to celebrate but I know they’re here in spirit. We love you so much!”

Kobe and 13-year-old daughter Gigi tragically died in a helicopter crash in January 2020. In a March interview with People.com, Vanessa opened up about the “unimaginable pain” she experienced after the deaths of her husband and daughter.

“This pain is unimaginable,” she said. “You just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again … But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do.”
