Nicki Minaj is a doting mom. The ‘Seeing Green’ rapper recently shared her delight in being a parent to her son on her website while refraining from revealing the little one’s name.
“Since becoming pregnant, I can’t stop eating ice,” Minaj told her fans. “I’m now up to about 20 cups per day,” the recording artist admitted. “I eat them out of the red plastic cups. The cups must always be stacked in two. ‘Double cup love, you the one I lean on,'” Nicki mused. “It simply doesn’t taste right when I eat it out of one lil flimsy cup.”
Minaj went on to tell her fans, “I’ve also been completely overwhelmed with joy and fulfillment in the world of Papa Bear. Each day creates a new and fascinating, magical memory that I hide far away into a little cute compartment of my heart; vowing never to forget any of it.”
“He’s just a cute liddo marshmallow,” Nicki further doted. “I can’t take it,” the celebrity mom gushed. “His favorite movie is Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. [He] won’t stop watching it,” Minaj mused. “He’s so smart, funny, sweet, competitive… it’s kind of crazy how they have a full personality so early on. Yesterday I made him say ‘Mama.’ Even got it on video. Just… Wow.”
Nicki Minaj welcomed her son last September. The little one arrived weeks after the rapper confirmed her expectancy. Nicki shared a beautiful New Year’s message that featured a candid of her son back in January.
“#PapaBear thank you so very much for choosing me to be your mama,” Nicki wrote to her son. “Wishing you guys a happy and prosperous New Year,” Minaj told her fans. “Thank you for your love and support throughout this journey,” the rapper continued. “It’s meant so much to me. Becoming a mom is by far the most fulfilling job I’ve ever taken on. Sending love to all the superhero mothers out there. Big hugs to all the women who have been pregnant during this challenging time.”
Nicki Minaj’s son is her first with husband Kenneth Petty. The couple celebrates two years of marriage this year.
