Tamron Hall and husband Steve Greener are breathing a little easier now that their son, Moses, has been discharged post-surgery. Tamron took to her Instagram earlier today to share the good news with her followers, but she did not disclose why her son underwent surgery.
“Thank you @nyulangone for taking such care of baby Moses. After an hour-long surgery, he is doing great. Thank God! Last week was a hard one for us, but watching the pediatric team care for Moses and so many other precious children was the best medicine to ease our fears.”
She added, “Shoutout to Cocomelon for helping too. #mosesandmama Photo credit: nervous dad. Last checkup today then it’s all clear for weekend birthday celebration. Moses is turning 2! My little Prince .”
Tamron Hall welcomed her first child with Greener on April 25, 2019 at the age of 48 years old. The talk show host kept her pregnancy a secret until she was 32 weeks along.
Alongside a series of maternity images , she explained, “I’ve wanted to share this news for many months and now finally my doctor has said I am in a safe place, at 32 weeks, to share my joy with y’all. So, it’s clear a daytime talk show isn’t the only thing I’ve been trying to produce!”
She continued, “There have been many tears, but today I embrace the smiles,” she continued. “My husband Steven and I are beyond excited! We’re in constant prayer, so if you pray, add us to your list; if you meditate, send calmness our way; and if you believe in luck, we’ll happily take that too.”
Tamron previously shared with People Magazine that her journey to conceive her son was not an easy one.
“I knew that the clock was not on my side,” Hall said in an exclusive interview. “When I tried in my 30s, I still felt like I had some time, and the fertility clinic felt like a bright room. In my 40s I saw all the gray: The faces looked gray, the walls were gray, nothing seemed shiny and optimistic.”
“Just like with my job search during that time, there were so many frustrations: I’m putting in the work, I’m taking care of my mind and my body and I’m being rejected,” she continued. “I’m thinking, ‘Wait a minute. What have I done wrong here?’ Somehow, like Rocky, I kept getting up.”
Moses will celebrate his second birthday this coming weekend. Happy Birthday, Moses!
