Last month, Serena and Alexis Olympia wore matching outfits to shoot for Stuart Weiztman’s 2021 Spring 2021 campaign.
“I’m so happy to be starring in the new @stuartweitzman Spring 2021 campaign with @olympiaohanian, my mini-me, my mini-Serena,” Williams wrote on Instagram.
“I love that it’s called #FootstepstoFollow because she inspires every step I take and I hope I inspire her, too. Because while I try to teach her how to be a positive influence, she in fact teaches me how to be a stronger person every day. It’s the best part about being a mom.”
Williams shared in an interview with WWD how it was like shooting the Stuart Weitzman campaign with a three year old.
“Being on set with Olympia to shoot this campaign meant so much to me, and it is a moment together I will never forget,” Williams said during an interview segment with Stuart Weitzman staff. “Waking up every day to see her so happy to see me is a feeling I never thought I would experience,” the celebrity mom continued. “While I try to teach her how to be a positive influence, she in fact teaches me how to be a stronger person every day. It’s the best part about being a mom.”
Adding, “We were getting nervous—she took her nap [before] and you can’t shoot with kids for that long, so she came and went nuts—just pose, pose, pose—and then she was out. I was like—that’s how you shoot,” Williams said.
