Bobby Brown seems to be in better spirits after suffering the loss of his son Bobby Brown Jr. on November, 18, 2020.

Last month, an autopsy report revealed that Bobby Jr. died from the combined effects of alcohol, cocaine, and the opioid fentanyl.  He was one of the Bobby Brown’s two children with ex-girlfriend Kim Ward.

“My family continues to mourn my son’s death,” Brown Sr. recently told People. “Street fentanyl has taken the life of so many people unnecessarily and Bobby Jr. is another victim. This epidemic is out of control and those supplying this lethal drug should be held responsible for the death and destruction that it causes.”

Kim Ward also spoke to the news outlet and shared that her son “was not into drugs.”

“Bobby was often easily influenced,” she said. “This is a situation where he associated himself with the wrong people. My son is gone and those who contributed to his senseless death should be held accountable.”

Bobby Brown Jr’s untimely death comes five years after Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, died months after being found unconscious in a bathtub with alcohol and cocaine in her system. She was 22 years old.

Bobbi was buried in New Jersey next to her late mother, singer Whitney Houston, who died in February 2012 in a similar manner as her daughter.
