Introducing Dylan Matthew Darby! Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) star Ashley Darby and her husband, Michael Darby, introduced their newborn son to the Internet world earlier this week.
“It is with the biggest, happiest, and most grateful hearts we introduce our little angel, Dylan Matthew Darby,” Ashley told her social media fans. “Born on 3/2/21 weighing 7.9 lbs, he has been the best addition to our little family,” the celebrity mom said.
Ashley and Michael Darby shared the news of their family’s expansion last year. The RHOP star gave regular updates throughout her pregnancy and reminisced a bit about her life as the mom of one child, Dean Darby, just days before welcoming another child.
“It’s really hitting me – these are the last moments of Dean being my only baby,” Ashley shared with her social media fans. “While I’m beyond words excited for our growing family, I have to give space and acknowledgment for the journey Dean and I have been on thus far,” the Reality TV star added. “He’s a magical little human and I count my lucky stars every single day that I get to be his mother.”
Some children have a hard time adjusting to the notion of a younger sibling. Dean, however, enjoys his new role as big brother.
“Dean loves being a big brother and covers the baby in kisses and hugs all the time,” Ashley told her Instagram fans a few days ago. “It’s the most incredible bond to witness flourishing,” the celebrity mom doted. “This is even more amazing than I thought it’d be.”
Dylan is Michael and Ashley Darby’s second child together. The couple’s oldest son commemorates his second birthday in July.
