Lil Baby was nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance at the 2021 Grammy Awards. The celebrity father commemorated such an honor with his mom and oldest son on Sunday (Mar. 14).

Lil Baby and his “mini-me” were dressed to impress as the rapper showed off his formal wear and fresh hairstyle. The rapper’s son also rocked formal wear and a new hairstyle for the occasion. Lil Baby’s mother wore a beautiful and vibrant yellow outfit to what appeared to be a Grammy party that was just for the family.

Leaving a mark at the 2021 Grammy Awards was a given for Lil Baby who went to great lengths to ensure his stage performance of ‘Th Bigger Picture’ was stellar. The rapper heavily relied on visuals as he delivered the lyrics of his hit song in an atmosphere reminiscent of a parking lot with a building set ablaze by fire. Lil Baby even had vehicles in his performance.

It was just a few months ago that Lil Baby talked about his ability to dissect the lyrics of songs. “I used to dissect music — like, I used to know every song word for word,” the celebrity shared during an interview with NPR. “That was like one of my goals, to just know this song from front to back,” Lil Baby said. “I wouldn’t really make a rap, but I just liked music so much that I start putting it into my life — I’d take someone else’s song and make it for me.”

Reconstructing another artist’s song was Lil Baby’s way of learning about music. In just four years, the recording artist has gone from having no musical experience to topping the charts with several hit singles.

“You can’t even imagine how far this is from where I come from,” Lil Baby recently said during an interview with NME. “I definitely didn’t see it,” he added. “I can’t say [fame is] something I want or don’t want because I just believe it goes with what’s going on. If this is what comes with it, I’m with it.”
