Christmas has come early for singer Monica’s son, Romelo Hill. On Friday, Monica shared in a video clip how she managed to get a Playstation 5 from rapper Lil Baby.
She said, “Shot my video last night [and] my boy had a lot of Playstation 5’s. As a mama, I was looking for a couple.”
Monica then proceeded to ask the rapper where he purchased the coveted gaming system.
She continued, “I let him know that my middle son is really into the game and he said ‘Tell him Lil Baby got it for him'”.
The next morning, the mom of three surprised her son with the gift. She made sure to capture Romelo’s reaction in a video.
“This that @romelo you owe me face. No matter where I am Iâm thinking of my babies! @lilbaby_1 thank you for blessing my boy. @laiyah is the best sister!! Spread Love, it comes back!!”
Romelo’s sister, Laiyah Brown, was elated for her big brother and said, “I am happy for you.”
Monica wasn’t the only parent on a panicked search for the PS5. The console, which retails for more than $500, has been sold out everywhere.
Walmart, Amazon , Target, GameStop, Best Buy, Samâs Club, etc. are all sold out of the gaming system. If you check their websites, you will see things such as âawaiting stock,â âstock previously live,â and âcheck back for updates.â So, just where and when can both you get the new console?
