Gabrielle Union’s daughter, Kaavia James, is not a fan of the snow. Kaavia James, a.k.a. Shady Baby, was recently photographed while enjoying a sort of Winter Wonderland in the backyard of the family’s home.
“So, turns out @kaaviajames is not a fan of snow or sledding,” Gabrielle Union said of her daughter’s reaction to the small hill of snow that she used to take a ride downhill with Kaav. Shady Baby was certainly not impressed with the experience and gave expressions that screamed, “Get me off!”
“[She] stays unimpressed,” one social media fan noted when talking about Kaavia James who got her nickname because of her passive looks. “That baby is shady about everything,” another of Gabrielle’s Instagram followers wrote.
It has been an interesting year for Gabrielle Union and the family. The coronavirus pandemic led to lockdowns, which ultimately led to all members of the Wade household being underneath one roof for extended periods. Gabrielle and her husband, Dwyane Wade, discussed their solution for coping with the changes, as well as the family’s reliance on self-care to get them through these challenging times, during a recent interview with POPSUGAR.
“We’ve literally been searching for solutions and new ideas of different kinds of ways to practice self-care,” Gabrielle shared with the media outlet. “Some more successful than others,” the actress added.
“It’s really leading by example,” Union further explained. “When they see us, this is Mommy’s quiet time. Mommy needs a minute to think and regroup. Usually, that’s in Mommy’s bathroom. Everyone respects it because we all need a minute.”
