Nicole Murphy, the ex-wife of comedian Eddie Murphy, recently spoke about the importance of teaching kids about healthy habits early.
In a recent Instagram post, Nicole Murphy is photographed with her 1-year-old granddaughter Evie Murphy, who her 27-year-old son Miles Murphy had with his girlfriend Carly Olivia. Nicole captioned the post: “Our kids learn from watching us. Teach them to eat to nourish their bodies. Healthy starts from within. #healthiswealth #yfoy #everydayconfidence #grandbaby #evie #nicolemurphy #purelove.”
Nicole Murphy was married to the legendary comedian Eddie Murphy for 13 years before their divorce in 2006, and they had five kids together. Including Miles, their kids are 30-year-old Bria, 25-year-old Shayne, 20-year-old Zola, and 18-year-old Bella Murphy.
Although Nicole Muphy had five kids and is now a 52-year-old grandmother, it’s pretty hard to tell from her amazing, curvaceous figure, which she works hard to maintain. On an episode of BET’s “Body of Work” show, she explained her new diet, which consists of more water, vegetables, fruits, and protein; and her workout routine which consists of working out with a trainer to push her. “I need that challenge. I need that competition. I need somebody in my ear,” says Nicole.
After seeing women embracing their curves and backsides, Nicole Murphy felt confident in showing hers off too, saying, “I have it. It’s here. It’s natural. It is what it is. This is me. I love me and I love my butt.” Nicole makes sure to spread her confidence and positivity to her daughters, reminding them to stay healthy and put in work to keep their figures. Fitness is very important to Nicole, as she wants to remain healthy to watch her adorable granddaughter grow.
“I think with age you build your self-esteem, you become more confident,” says Nicole. “I’m confident within myself. I love to embrace my age. We can’t go backwards.”
