Beyonce, Jay-Z, and their kids helped Julez Smith celebrate his birthday this past weekend. Solange’s son rang in his sixteenth birthday with a small gathering of close family members.
A party attendee captured footage of her nephew viewing his “Supreme” cake before cutting into the dessert. Rumi and Sir stood beside their cousin while also taking in the sight of Julez’s beautifully designed cake. Bey could be heard in the background requesting a picture of just Julez and his cake before the teen cut into the decorated piece.
Tina Lawson also shared a tribute to her grandson on her Instagram page. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful @julezjsmith,” Lawson wrote to Julez. “Grandma loves you,” she continued. “You are still my baby even though you can eat soup off my head now.”
Tina also shared a throwback candid of Julez with her and his mom. “You have always been my little star,” Lawson exclaimed. “My beautiful Grandson, Daniel Julez Smith @julezjsmith, is 16-years-old,” she added. “Happy Birthday, Baby. I love you!”
Julez Smith was born on October 18, 2004. He is the only son of Solange Knowles and athlete Daniel Smith Sr. Many remember Julez from his younger years as a photographer in the making. The teen has taken more time to develop his craft as a basketball player these days. Nevertheless, Julez remains camera-ready.
