Trey Songz is grateful for his son’s mother, Caro Colon. The recording artist recently took to Instagram to express gratitude for his “baby mama.”
“My baby mama [is] harder than a lot of you n*gg*z,” Trey told his social media fans. Some fans praised Trey Songz for complimenting his son’s mother. A few critics, however, questioned why Trey would not marry Caro.
Trey’s praise for his son’s mother comes days after the recording artist released his latest album called Back Home. Hit songs for the new album include ‘Two Ways’ as well as ‘Circles’ and ‘2020 Riots: How Many Times.’ Trey credits his son, Noah, as a creative on every song.
“I wanna make the kind of R&B that inspired me to sing,” Trey said during a recent interview in which he discussed the motivation behind his latest project. “The songs that make you love, the ones that make cry and the ones that make you smile, laugh and dance,” Songz added.
“Music is the soundtrack that plays while we live our lives, and I wanna be there for my fans while they are living through this truly special time that we’ll never forget,” Trey Songz continued. “I say I’m Back Home because the music feels that way. I hope you feel the same.”
