Ciara recently vacationed in Cabo, Mexico with her best friends La La Anthony, Vanessa Bryant, and their children. They commemorated their getaway with plenty of adorable videos and photos, including one of Ciara cuddling up to 1-year-old Capri Bryant, Vanessa’s youngest child. “Love you, Ko Ko bean,” Ciara captioned the photo.
Ciara has three children with her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson: 6-year-old Future Zahir, 3-year-old Sienna, and 2-month-old Win Wilson. La La Anthony shares her son, 13-year-old Kiyan Anthony, with her husband, NBA star Carmelo Anthony. Vanessa Bryant had her children, 17-year-old Natalia, the late Gianna, 3-year-old Bianka, and 1-year-old Capri Bryant with her late husband, NBA icon Kobe Bryant.
More cute photos of their trip include Vanessa cuddling with baby Win and a shot of Kiyan, Future Zahir, and Win all smiling together. Another sweet photo shows Ciara and Vanessa breastfeeding their respective babies, Win and Capri Bryant, who both were covered with blankets.
A hilarious clip from the vacation shows the group enjoying a fun football game. Ciara, La La, Vanessa, and Natalia got together in a huddle and La La gave instructions on the play. “I’m about to run ‘Danger Danger.’ When I say ‘hut,’ you get that motherf—ing ball and you run,” said La La, which made everyone laugh. “Got that, Koko?” joked Vanessa to Capri, who was standing by.
“California Love” by 2Pac and Dr. Dre played as the ladies ran several plays against Kiyan and Future Zahir. The ladies won the game and celebrated with hilarious victory dances. Natalia captioned the video on her Instagram: “The Girls Taking The W… As We Should @ciara @lala @vanessabryant.”
A source close to the families said: “They all flew together on a private jet and stayed in houses at El Dorado. They visited the clubhouse at El Dorado and rode around on a golf cart. They played games on the lawn and had sunset dinners together,” says the source. “The kids had the best time; all playing together and bonding.”
According to the source, the moms had “a blast and were very relaxed together. It was a great getaway for all of them and they loved being together.”
On January 26, 2020, Kobe and his daughter Gianna Bryant, along with Alyssa, John and Keri Altobelli, Payton and Sarah Chester, Christina Mauser, and pilot Ara Zobayan were tragically killed in a helicopter crash. Gianna was 13 and Kobe was 41 when they passed and they are survived by Vanessa and daughters Natalia, Bianka, and Capri Bryant.
La La Anthony and Ciara have been the best friends Vanessa Bryant could ask for, as they have looked out for and supported her and the Bryant family in their grief and pain. In fact, Ciara recently spent “Mamba Day” (August 24, 8/24 in honor of Kobe’s numbers) with the Bryant family. La La spoke about her love and support for Vanessa to ET in September, saying: “I’m always going to be there for her and the girls and just, you know, want to see her just continue to be strong and amazing. To see her smile and laugh to me is the greatest feeling.”
