Tommie Lee is spending quality time with her younger daughter after welcoming her first grandchild. The Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta (LHHATL) star recently shared pictures from her “mommy and me” outing with her Instagram fans.

“Mommy and daughter day,” Tommie told her fans. “Love you VATO,” Lee wrote to her daughter. “Salute,” one fan said. “Good to see you happy and in a positive, happy place.”

Tommie Lee’s older daughter, Samaria, welcomed her first child earlier this week. “Thankful for my mother and her being there to support me with my firstborn,” Samaria wrote online after giving birth.

Some were shocked to learn Tommie Lee was present for her daughter’s labor and delivery experience after also learning that Lee suggested her daughter abort her then-unborn child.

“I would rather a teen live their life,” Tommie Lee said in response to the backlash she received for recommending an abortion to Samaria. “Ultimately, my decision to my child, that I think so highly of and I love, is that I don’t want her to ever face the things that I faced,” the celebrity mom shared. “I don’t want her to ever go through that.”
